The 1st stage carbon oxide waste-heat boiler, pos. 103-s, is a high pressure heat exchanger used to utilize converted gas heat after the 104-DA high-pressure converter. It is mounted at the existing processing line instead of the expired waste-heat boiler of the TEC Company () in the ammonia department.
The boiler is designed to produce steam due to converted gas heat utilization after the 104-DA high-temperature converter.
